Community Appreciation Night

FreeYou’re invited! Join HIP for our community appreciation night. This is our opportunity to show our appreciation for HIP’s incredible community of volunteers, partners, and donors. Enjoy East African food and learn about the culture with a coffee ceremony, short program, and music. Dinner prepared by HIP’s East Senior African Meal chef Emebet Mamo and her family. Friends and family members are welcome, RSVP required!

FAQ
Where is the event happening and where can I park?
The event will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the Lake City Presbyterian Church, where HIP’s office space and kitchen is located. The address is 3841 NE 123rd St., Seattle, WA 98125. There is ample parking in the church parking lot.
Are masks required?
Masks are not required. We’ll have doors and windows open.
Will you have non-East African dishes?
Yes! We’ll have limited options for kids and other folks who’d prefer non-East African dishes.
Will there be drinks?
We’ll serve an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including a traditional Ethiopian wine and non-alcoholic barley drink.
I have to arrive late/leave early. Is that okay?
Yes! Stop by whenever you’re available.
