Shelter Meals Prep

During the week our Shelter Meals volunteers prepare dinners to be served at the North King County Enhanced Shelter in Shoreline.

Senior Meal Prep

9am – 11:30am
HIP Kitchen
Each week, Senior Meal prep volunteers work alongside HIP’s Senior Meal Program Coordinator to prepare meals to be served to seniors.

Senior Meal Serving

Our Senior Meal serving volunteers help set up the meal space, serve the meal, and clean up.

HIP Pack Packing Parties

At our packing parties, volunteers put together Healthy HIP Packs, a pack of weekend food for children which are distributed on Fridays during the school year.

Afterschool Meals

Volunteers will assist in preparing individually packaged meals for children attending a tutoring program at the Lake City Library.

Summer Eats

Senior Meal Deliver Driver

Pick up fresh, warm lunches downtown Lake City and deliver them to seniors across North Seattle.

Nutrition Education Class Assistance

HIP Pack Final Assembly

Every other week we need volunteers to add fresh fruit and seal our Healthy HIP Packs before they are delivered to our partner schools.
