Prep Team Volunteer

Each week, HIP Prep Team Volunteers prepare meals and other food items to support HIP’s programs.

Senior Meal Site Volunteer

10am – 2pm
Lake City Community Center

This job requires your help in setting up the meal space, serving the meal, and helping clean up. Get to know the diners and enjoy a free lunch!

After School Snack Site Volunteer

M, T, W, TH
5pm – 7pm
Lake City Library

If you like working with youth this is the opportunity for you! Volunteers are needed each day to deliver and distribute snacks and engage with the youth and teens at the library during the school year.

At our packing parties, volunteers put together our Healthy HIP Packs, a pack of weekend food for children, during the school year.

Summer Eats Volunteers

Every summer we run summer meal sites where we serve a free healthy meal to youth ages 1-18 and their parents. We need volunteers to serve these meals and lead kids and teens in fun summertime activities.

Throughout the year, HIP hosts special events and volunteer nights. There are also opportunities to volunteer based on your special skills (writing, photography, videography, recipe development, finance, marketing, fundraising, etc).
