Share your passion for food justice, your lived experience, and your expertise to provide strategic leadership to HIP

Hunger Intervention is looking for community members to serve on our governing Board of Directors.

 

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF BOARD MEMBERS? 

Board members participate in three-year terms and are expected to:

  • Attend and participate in monthly board meetings;
  • Serve on a board subcommittee; and
  • Make a personally significant annual financial contribution to the organization

HOW DO I JOIN?

  1. Meet us! Connect with our Co-Executive Director, board members, and/or a board chair and maybe stop by for a tour or a volunteer shift.
  2. Fill out an application and pick a subcommittee to join.
  3. Join a subcommittee for three months and participate in meetings to get to know the board.

After three months, you will be invited to join the board and the board will vote you in as a member.
