Two recent news articles and interviews mentioned Hunger Intervention Program’s summer meal sites and the great help these meals offer to families during the summer.  Please check them out!

August 5, 2013 — Seattle Times article on summer meal outreach efforts, mentioning HIP’s Lake City meal sites.

And, remember that HIP’s meal sites are open until August 30th.  If you have a favorite coffee shop, grocery store, or community spot that families frequent and you don’t see a HIP Summer Meals flyer posted, let us know and we’ll get one out there.  No kids should go hungry in our neighborhood and we need your help to get the word out.
