Look no further! HIP is looking for two interns (part-time, volunteer) to join our team. HIP provides a supportive, friendly, and fun atmosphere for everyone to learn new skills.

Senior Meals Program Intern

This individual will work with HIP’s Meal Program Coordinator to coordinate the operations of HIP’s senior meals program. The intern will work alongside HIP volunteers to plan and create meals, ensure food safety, and serve meals. This is a part-time opportunity (16-20 hours per week) that requires a minimum commitment of four months.

The intern will gain valuable experience that translates to both the non-profit, food-service industry and hospitality fields. This position requires a proactive, motivated, well-organized and culturally competent individual with the ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Development and Fundraising Intern

We are also seeking a Development and Fundraising Intern (12-16 hours/week) to work directly with the Executive Director. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in a career in non-profit development, fundraising, and grant-writing. This position requires a minimum commitment of four to six months. Work hours are flexible.

This position requires a well-organized individual with attention to details, strong communication skills, and passion to raise funds to address food insecurity in our community.
