It’s time to celebrate! The school year is wrapping up in little more than a month. With that, another year of our Healthy HIP Packs Program and our Afterschool Snacks Program is coming to an end. During the current school year (October 2016 through April 2017) so far we have distributed 5,627 Healthy HIP Packs and 90 food boxes to more than 200 students, totaling 36,900 meals! During the same time we have served 2,300 afterschool snacks.

You know very well who made all that happen, starting from repackaging food to assembling packs, preparing meals, serving meals, helping with setup and clean up, and so much more. It’s YOU! As we end our school year programming (and start summer programming), it’s a good time to celebrate all that we have accomplished together.

We hope you’ll be able to join us. The Volunteer Appreciation Party will immediately follow our last Healthy HIP Packs Packing Party for the school year. We’ll have good food, fun for all ages, and good company!
