Meet Maureen, a.k.a. Moe, the newest addition to the HIP family. She started off as a volunteer dishwasher for the Senior Meals Program, then became an official staff member in November 2018 when HIP opened the up a part-time dishwasher position. We would be lost without her at the Senior Meal and are grateful to have her on board! Read more about Moe below:

Moe was born in Eastern Washington and raised in Western Washington. Born into a family of 10 siblings, she quickly learned how to navigate chaos. In 2005 she moved to Lake City, where she met her husband-to-be (their wedding is set for this June!). Together they enjoy bicycling through Hamlin Park in Shoreline and have recently become fond of reading Western novels, particularly those by Louis L’Amour. Though she has moved away from her large family, she has found an extension of that family in HIP. For our part, we’re happy she has. 🙂
